Stadium Feijenoord, popularly known as De Kuip, is a football stadium in South Rotterdam. The Dutch professional football club Feyenoord plays its home games in the stadium and the Dutch national football team also regularly plays there. The stadium was designed by architect Leendert van der Vlugt, of the Brinkman and Van der Vlugt architectural firm. Construction started in 1935; the opening was on March 27, 1937. After the Johan Cruijff ArenA, De Kuip is the largest football stadium in the Netherlands. De Kuip is also the stadium where the Dutch national football team has played the most international matches. Lilian de Leeuw is the Venue Director in 2023.[2][3]
